    Senior Product Designer (UX/UI)

    About the Role
    As Sherpa’s primary product designer, you will own design across our mobile and web products, working closely with product, engineering and other stakeholders from discovery through to delivery and iteration.
     
    Key Responsibilities
    • Own the end-to-end product design process, from research and problem definition through to prototyping, UI design, delivery and iteration.
    • Conduct user research through driver and sender interviews, data analysis, and usability testing to deeply understand customer and business needs.
    • Create intuitive, polished experiences across our driver and sender mobile and web products.
    • Collaborate closely with engineers and stakeholders to define problems, explore solutions and deliver impactful product improvements.
    • Maintain and evolve our UI component library and reusable design patterns, improving consistency, accessibility and collaboration with other teams.
    • Support beyond product – help shape marketing and sales materials, ensuring a strong and cohesive brand presence.
     
    Required Skills & Experience
    • 5+ years’ experience in UX/UI design, with a strong foundation in user-centric, interaction, and visual design principles.
    • Proven ability to design user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that validate ideas and improve usability.
    • Strong UX and UI craft, with the ability to take work from early concepts through to polished, production ready interfaces
    • Strong strategic thinking—able to align design decisions with business goals and user needs.
    • High attention to detail, with a mix of creative and analytical problem solving skills.
    • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience collaborating closely with engineers and stakeholders throughout design and delivery
    • Advanced proficiency in Figma and other design tools (Adobe Suite, etc.)
    • Bonus: Experience in graphic and/or digital design, supporting brand consistency across different touchpoints.
    • A strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI work and its impact on business outcomes.
    • Curious and willing to experiment with AI assisted design workflows for rapid prototyping, concept exploration and research while applying sound judgement to quality and privacy
     
    Qualifications
    • A relevant qualification or equivalent practical experience
